The following Terms & Conditions apply to all contracts and agreements made between Hotel Damrak Inn, the person / organization / company that making the booking, and all guests staying at the property.
Check-in & Check-out time
Check-in time is from 3 pm on the day of arrival. Early check-in is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival.
Check-out time is before 11:00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. Any delay results in additional charges as late check-out fee or a full day charge. Late check-out service is available on surcharge, and it is €15,00 per hour until 13:00. Any extension beyond 13:00 will be charged at the full day rate.
Requirements for check-in
Upon check-in, presenting a valid ID or passport is required. The credit card used for the booking needs to be owned by the main booker and presented upon check-in. Payments are not accepted if the main booker and the credit card is not present. Upon arrival, hotel Damrak Inn reserves the right to verify the credit card that has been used for the booking with the actual credit card. In case the credit card is not present or does not belong to the main booker, an alternative form of payment may be required.
At any other moment during your stay, the staff reserves the right to ask guests for identification.
The number of persons on the booking confirmation are allowed to stay. Unregistered guests are not allowed to enter your room. If unregistered guests are found in the room, you will be asked to leave the hotel immediately,
The minimum age for a guest to make a reservation and stay in hotel Damrak Inn is 18 years. For each booking at least one of the guests is 18 years.
Car number plate must be registered if the car is parked nearby the property.
Check-out requirement
Guests are required to maintain the apartment during their stay and ensure it is left in a clean and tidy condition upon departure. Key cards need to be returned at the reception.
In case of lost or damage to the key card, €10 will be charged for each card.
Room cleaning service
To minimize environmental impact, hotel Damrak Inn is not providing daily room cleaning service during your stay. To help us reduce water and energy consumption as well as detergent wastewater, please consider reusing your towels.
Room cleaning or towel exchange during your stay is only on request by informing the reception before 12:00 during your stay. Failure to notify will result in no cleaning service and no towel exchange.
Room access
Authorized hotel staff may enter your room for cleaning purposes, in case of an emergency, or to inspect the condition of the room. Additionally, staff may enter the room if there are suspicious of rule violations or suspicious situations.
Flexible/Standard Rate & Non-Refundable Rate
Flexible/Standard rate bookings can be cancelled or modified free of charge up to 2 days prior to arrival (start 00:00). To secure your booking, hotel Damrak Inn reserves the right to pre-authorize the first night stay on the provided credit card at 7 days prior to arrival.
Non-Refundable rate bookings cannot be cancelled or modified free of charge. The total amount of the booking will be pre-authorized on the provided credit card on the date of booking.
All rates include 9% VAT, exclude 12,5% city tax.
Cancellations & Modifications
Bookings with flexible/standard rate can be cancelled or modified free of charge up to 2 days priors to arrival (start 00:00). If cancelled or modified later than 2 days or in case of no-show, the first night amount of the booking will be charged. Bookings with non-refundable rate will be charged in full amount.
Bookings made through affiliated websites (such as Booking.com, Expedia.com, Agoda.com) can only cancelled or modified via the respective affiliated website or Customer Service department, depending on the confirmed policy. Bookings made through our own website can be cancelled or modified by sending an e-mail to frontdesk@damrakinn.nl.
Additional information:
In exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel your booking or offer a similar room. These circumstances may include: the closure of rooms due to events beyond our control or situations where continuing the booking could harm the hotel reputation or cause damage to the room as determined by us. In any of these cases, hotel Damrak Inn will not be liable to the guest. Hotel Damrak Inn is not responsible for any delays, losses, or expenses incurred if your booking needs to be altered or cancelled, or if hotel is unable to fulfill the contractual obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control. Please note we do not provide refund for bookings cancelled due to flight cancellations. Hotel Damrak Inn reserves the right to cancel your booking if it violates its Terms & Conditions and House Rules, regardless of whether the guest or any associated group member has checked in.
Luggage storage service
Hotel Damrak Inn provides a complimentary luggage storage service for guests. Luggage storage service is possible before check-in time or after check-out time till 8 pm of the departure date. Leaving your luggage behind is at your own risk. The hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage to stored luggage. Valuables, perishable items, and hazardous materials are not permitted to be stored.
Hotel Damrak Inn reserves the right to amend or terminate the luggage storage service at any time without prior notice.
Guest property
Hotel Damrak Inn provides a safe in each room for guests to store their valuables. The hotel cannot be held responsible or liable for any damage to, or loss of personal belongings kept in the accommodation.
Prohibited Activities
Any form of prostitution, soft drugs, hard drugs, smoking and nitrous oxide (laughing gas) are strictly prohibited in and around hotel Damrak Inn. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a recovery fee of € 300 and a final warning. Persistent violation of this policy may lead to departure from the hotel without any refunds.
Displacement
When hotel Damrak Inn deems it necessary to displace a guest from the accommodation, no refunds will be issued. Additionally, hotel Damrak inn is not liable for any secondary costs or damages arising from the displacement.
Parking facilities
Hotel Damrak Inn does not offer parking facility.
Pets
Hotel Damrak Inn does not accept pets of any kind or for any purpose of use.
Methods of Payment
Only card payment. We accept MASTERCARD, VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, MAESTRO, debit card. Cash payment is not accepted.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Accepting a reservation with hotel Damrak Inn indicates acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Hotel Damrak Inn’s Terms and Conditions may be subject to change at any time and without notice.
